Much of the second floor of this complex is a large 59x19 loft with pine plank floors and a 27x22 bump-out balcony that faces the Freight Station. The loft, accessed from an open stairway in the Freight Station, overlooks the Sawmill’s main bar. The loft makes a beautiful space for banquets and wedding receptions. There is also a 24x21 nook that opens from the loft and is currently used as a game room.
There are 3 more rooms on the second floor. The owner’s office is up here and it has great views of US Hwy 63. There is also an 18x17 bonus space and a 40x28 multi-use, all purpose room. A private stairway gives access to this end of the 2nd floor.
The Sawmill grounds encompass 1.42 acres. The paved parking area surrounds the building and can hold about 130 cars. There is also green space – beautiful, level land with red pines, birch and maples that shade the festival, concert and outdoor party grounds.
